The notification has been issued for the recruitment of Intelligence Assistance and Constable Investigation in the cadre of Punjab police. Applications are invited from Indian national in the Punjab police for the direct vacancy of intelligence assistance and constable investigation cadre in Punjab Police. The candidates should know about the method of the selection process:-
The candidate’s selection process shall be the basis of 2 stages.
In stage 1:- the candidates need to be qualifying in a computer-based test consisting of multiple-choice questions.
In stage 2:- the candidates need to be qualifying in document scrutiny, physical measurement test, and physical screening test.
Here noted that both physical measurement tests and physical screening tests shall be qualified in nature.

The applicants who belong to the general category need to pay Rs. 1000 application fee and belonging to Ex-servicemen need to pay only Rs.400.
While the candidates who belong to SC/ST category need to pay Rs.550 and economically weaker section need to pay Rs.550 application fee.

Education qualification:-
For intelligence assistant Candidates having a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in computer science, computer applications, and Information technology as one of the elective subjects or BSc/ B.Tech/BE in specific subjects can apply.
Or
For constable cadre, the candidates should have passed the higher secondary exam or its equivalent from a recognized education board.
And the candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university or equivalent.
Syllabus: – The candidates should have to cover General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Mental and Logical ability, English, Punjabi language, and Digital literacy & Computer awareness. There are 150 questions and the time allocated during exam hour will be 3 hours, consisting of 150 maximum marks.
