Elon Musk lauds ISRO for GAGANYAAN Programme Vikas Engine Project
ISRO successfully now, completed a long continuation hot- test of the liquid propellant Vikas Engine for the core L110 liquid stage of the human-rated GSLV MkIII vehicle, as part of engine qualification requirements for the “GAGANYAAN Programme” said ISRO official. The engine was fired for 240 seconds at the ISRO propulsion complex (IPRC) test facility in Mahendragiri in Tamilnadu. As per the official statement, said by ISRO, the engine performance may be the test objectives and precisely matching prediction during the entire duration of the test. As part of the “GAGANYAAN programme” Indian astronauts candidates previously completed journal space flight training in Russia. Indian prime minister Narendra Modi made the official statement “GAGANYAAN” Initiative during the Independence Day addressed august 15 2018. GANGANYAAN is an ISRO flagship effort that the human sent to space in an Indian spaceship vehicle to a lower orbit. A first man trip in December 2021 with the second following of 2022, 2023.
ISRO has done the successful test of Vikas Engine for “GAGANYAAN” on July 14, 2021. This is the biggest space mission so far. Soon it will be able to send humans into space and this is the main objective for this mission. This engine has been named Vikas Engine. This engine will go up to 300 to 400 km and can stay there for 5 to 7 days which will be a great achievement for the ISRO. Because in the past when Richard Branson went to space, his spaceship went only 86 km above the surface of the earth and stayed there only 5 minutes. At present, there are only three countries in the world that can launch manned missions in space as America, China, and Russia but now soon India will also join this club by 2023.
Elon Musk is the second richest person in the world on Wednesday he congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation for successfully conducting the third long-duration hot-test on the “GAGANYAAN Programme” Vikas Engine.
